Orphans in Need are committed to ensuring that every child who is in our care is protected from any form of abuse, whether that is physical, sexual or emotional. Thus every orphanage that is run by Orphans in Need is subject to fully implementing our Child Protection Policy. Orphanages, who are not under the direct control of Orphans in Need, but who are recipients of any aid, medicine, or training from Orphans in Need, also need to implement the policy and train or vet their staff accordingly. If a child protection policy is already in place than we check that it is being implemented correctly, and that it broadly covers the main points on Orphans in Need's own Child

Protection Policy. Orphans in Need, teaches the staff in the application and implementation of our Child Protection Policy, and the board of trustees oversee the policy rules, vetting of new staff, and that references are thoroughly checked.
