There are millions of orphans around the world. Children who have lost their parents through death or disappearance, abandonment or desertion and separation or loss. Just imagine what it's like to have no one to care for you at such a tender age.

That is why Orphans in Need has set up sponsorship programmes to help children with the basics of life, to replace the love, support and protection normally provided by parents.

As a basic necessity of humanity, we believe that every child is entitled to equality. The welfare of any child without parents, guardians or carers is everybody's responsibility.
