Teaching orphanages to fend for themselves

Our work and projects are conducted and accomplished in a manner that allows these communities and orphanages to hopefully become self-sustaining, and encourages them to start generating some part of their own income. The long-term aim is to create the conditions and culture such that orphans who have benefited from orphanages and Orphans in Need projects, are themselves motivated and encouraged to ‘put something back’ into the orphanages, as well as the wider society in general. This could be in the form of financial support, voluntary work or trusteeship, and is especially the case for those who are educated by the charity to a professional level, or who succeed in business or any other field.
