Orphans in Need are currently fundraising, in order to establish a network of orphanages which will be run by the charity. The aim is to setup orphanages where currently there are none, or the capacity of existing ones are inadequate for the area. The main objectives are:

• To provide care which is of a personal nature rather than that given at most orphanages.

• To create a close, secure, family-orientated environment, in which the children are cherished, loved, nurtured, taught independance and encouraged to grow into valuable assets to society.

Many of the children in India try and survive by scraping a living from rubbish collections and begging. They have no access to education or healthcare, and are constantly living under the fear of assault, abuse or even child abduction for the purposes of child trafficking. Their conditions are extremely pathetic, and they can often be found competing like wild dogs at dustbins or at the feasts of the wealthier people. Orphans in Need strongly believe that this is simply unacceptable conditions for anyone let alone an orphan and that every human who is comfortable should be morally obliged to help these orphans.

There is a dire need for an orphanage which can successfully look after these children. We want you to imagine what life is like for these children who have been left orphaned. Do they not deserve to be fed, housed and educated? Imagine the succour and comfort our children would get from knowing there are kind people who care, and that they are not alone. Imagine the heartache and pain felt by a child who feels society and humanity in general have abandoned them. Please do not abandon the orphans of India.

Orphans in Need has identified a location about 35km from New Delhi (India), which is ideally situated for the construction of an orphanage. Many localities in the area suffer from all the poverty related problems that blight many of the communities in India. Unfortunately, in vulnerable societies such as these, children are often the most worst off and hence suffer the most. Our aim is to bring in orphaned children thorughout India, and provide these orphans love, a basic humanitarian living, healthcare and education until they reach adulthood.

The orphanage will be unique in the country, and will provide an unparalleled level of care which will be without equal in this part of the world.

The orphanage will be situated such that there will be ease of access to further educational insititutions. We wish to educate all the children in our care to the highest possible standards, and allow them to reach their full potential.

Orphans in Need are looking for kind, humble, caring and generous sponsors and donors who strive to please their Lord through the service of his creation. It is only through the generosity of our compassionate donors that we can keep fulfill the aims and objectives of this new orphanage construction project. The total cost of the land purchase is £105,000, which will give us two acres of land (9,860 sq yards). This works out at £11 per square yard. We whole heartedly request for your kind assistance in raising these funds so that we can proceed with the construction. Please bear in mind that this will be an investment that will benefit thousands of orphaned children scattered throughout India. It is an investment in their future, and for you an investment for this life and the hereafter.
