Orphans in Need urgently require medical equipment and supplies to combat diseases such as Malaria, Tuberculosis, Tetanus, Measles, Polio and Diphtheria.
Every day thousands of young children in the developing countries die from preventable diseases such as described previously. Many of the poor do not have access to basic medical care. Without proper medical equipment and supplies these young children, many of whom are orphans or from single parents, will die from these preventable diseases.
The hostile and drought ridden environments where little food and no clean water is available, becomes a breeding ground to unhygienic conditions. Children become susceptible to malnutrition and ill-health. Hunger and bad living conditions create a vicious circle where malnuriourised children who are already suffering from illnesses become victims of even deadlier diseases due to their weak immune system.
